Our Polymer clay workshop is designed to show you how to make polymer clay cabochon stones for stone setting. However, this is a very versatile medium and the items we will make on the day are easily adapted to make beads.
During the course we will go through the basics of using polymer clay including how to get the clay ready for use, mixing colours, texturing and more. Help and advice is given by our experienced polymer clay tutor. You will learn how to manipulate and form the clay and how to make beads or stones to use for jewellery. Materials for each day are extra and are available to buy from the studio shop. You may bring your own materials instead and advice on what to buy for the class is sent out prior to the course on request. All the tools you will need during the day are supplied in our custom built jewellery studio. The clay will be baked during the class in our oven.
